I’m a little obsessed with fashion weeks. I have the style.com app on my iPhone, and I look at all the shows and read the reviews. Then I proceed to go to elle.com, and refinery29, and fabsugar, etc. I look at them over & over. I pick out my favorite outfits and try to figure out how I can recreate them and what other pieces I would need. And then I go home & look at my closet & sigh because I live off of student loans & can’t buy a few new pairs of shoes, jackets, blazers, tshirts, pants, skirts, etc. Besides, I need to be saving up for power suits to go to court in.

I think in another life I would’ve been an editor for a fashion mag- a life where my family already had money & I didn’t really have to do anything in life but for my own personal sense of acheivement.

The other day I was reading an article about attorneys in fashion merchandising who deal with the legal issues of making & selling garments. I got excited, then realized I would have to live in NY to do that. So, I’m back to being a well-dressed, in debt lawyer specializing in family law.
