Contracts is by far the most mind boggling class for me. Every rule exists only when it exists; which means that usually it could go about three different ways that don’t make any sense. Sometimes Common Law applies, sometimes the Uniform Commercial Code, and at other times they both do and you’ve got to figure out which one supersedes the other. And there are always about 50 exceptions to every rule. And grammar matters. Half of class is spent debating whether a word is “sufficiently promisory.” Whatever that means. No one knows what it means.
